スペイン・マヨルカ島で開催中の「2024年470級世界選手権大会」。
レース日初日、風の変化が激しく、厳しいコンディションの中も、日本勢はトップ5に3チームがラインクインする好発進。
参加艇を2グループに分け予選シリーズを行う中、各チーム僅差。
今大会はパリ2024オリンピック・男女混合470級日本代表の一次選考大会にあたり、表彰台に上った場合で、1位は総合ポイントからマイナス8点、2位はマイナス7点、3位はマイナス6点のボーナスポイントが付与される。
レースは3月3日まで続く。

2大会の総合成績を加算、そこから種目別世界選手権大会で付与されるボーナスポイントを調整。
最もポイントの少なかった1チームが代表に内定します。
今大会で、表彰台に上った場合、それぞれ下記ボーナスポイントが付与されます。
1位→総合ポイントからマイナス8点、
2位→マイナス7点
3位→マイナス6点

The 2024 470 Class World Championship is currently being held in Mallorca, Spain.
On the first day of the race, despite harsh conditions with rapidly changing winds, the Japanese got off to a good start with three teams lining up in the top five.
The participating boats were divided into two groups and a qualifying series was held, with each team having a close lead.
This tournament is the first selection competition for Japan’s mixed 470 class Olympic team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.If you get on the podium, 1st place will be minus 8 points from the overall points, 2nd place will be minus 7 points, and 3rd place will be minus 6 points. bonus points will be awarded.
The race will continue until March 3rd.

Selection method
The overall results of the two tournaments are added together and the bonus points awarded at the World Championships for each event are adjusted from there.
The team with the fewest points will be selected as the representative.
If you reach the podium in this tournament, you will be awarded the following bonus points.
1st place → minus 8 points from the total points,
2nd place → minus 7 points
3rd place → minus 6 points
